Description

AdvancedMC hard disk drive storage modules are designed for use in AdvancedTCA /AMC Carriers and soon to be approved PICMG MicroTCA based products.

In the HDD-AMC product line, Microblade, has integrated advances in the storage market such as serial interfaces, improvements in temperature range, altitude and shock performance with the benefits of AdvancedMC RASM (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability and Manageability). The onboard Module Management Controller provides system management E-keying, voltage and temperature monitoring. The HDD-AMC also has a high efficiency power conversion and configurable port interfacing.

AMC modules are establishing new standards for low cost, 10Gbps performance and compact size. When combined with telecom uptime it will bring about a new generation of products for the communications, enterprise, medical, industrial, security and entertainment markets. These products will have more than reduced size, increased speed and reliability; they will also dramatically improve the total cost of ownership.
