Description
MicroBox Development System includes the world's first 1U MicroTCA enclosure. It has a compact 1U height form-factor with superior side-to-side cooling. Additionally, it has a 20-layer backplane that has been optimized to reduce signal integrity issues.
This prototyping system includes two essential modules, including the JTAG Switch Module (JSM) and the 380W MicroTCA Power Module. Optionally it can include high-performance: MCH, Pentium Processor AMC, and hard disk drive AMCs.
Jaguar JTAG Switch Module (JSM) - is an innovative testing and diagnostics module that allows you speed and agility during design, manufacture and operation. Jaguar provides JTAG vector testing, remote programming of FPGA logic, executable software. Jaguar can help you troubleshoot design defects and diagnose programming errors in the field. The module can be programmed to check datastream traffic, find the problem, and upload the fix all from a remote location. The unit features 20 JTAG testable loads and 1MB of test vectors or software/firmware uploads. There is also optional OEM module configuration with IPMB-0. Panther Power Module - is a graceful and sleek 380 Watt Full-Size (6HP) Power Module. Unlike common power modules today, MicroBlade's Panther has a single base-board design which allows for superior cooling over every power module available today
The current payload has power sharing between the modules and individual payload channel control. Many PMs in the industry are challenging to cool. The MicroBlade solution has less parts and a better airflow path, making thermal management of the unit much easier. Further, less components makes assembly and manufacturing costs of the module more competitive and reliable.
