Description
The Panther Power Module is a graceful and sleek 380 Watt Full-Size (6HP) Power Module. Unlike common power modules, the Microblade, Panther has a single base-board design which allows for superior cooling over every power module available today.
Exclusive Panther features include shared power capability. Each channel can be configured as primary, backup or off. This provides in redundant configurations the ability to share the load between two power modules. Panther utilizes Actel Fusion FPGAs to provide a next generation feature rich product. This approach provides a dramatically reduced part count, which provides allows for a single PCB construction and space for addition DC to DC converters or more capacitors for enhanced hold-up time.
Many PM’s in the industry are challenging to cool. The Microblade, solution has fewer parts and a better airflow path, making thermal management of the unit much easier. Further, fewer components makes the module more reliable and the cost more competitive.
Numerous additional features, such as RTC with event logging, can be added with little or no extra cost.
